Sorana Tarus: 2006-2015__ All this time I hanged around urban landscapes, intimate spaces, minimal chromatics and solitude as a main area of visual thinking and representation. I became part of the 'photo-realistic' painting trend which made its way through romanian contemporary art...not that I argue about means of expression but I think changing your ways in art or stopping a cycle is not necessarily a sign of 'weakness' it's rather honesty about your own research - afterall, we're flexible, changing human beings. So new works come out after taking all theese paintings off their wooden frames, wandering through new sources of wonder and inspiration and a thinking break.
